I attended this show thanks to Adrian and found it very impressive. The event delivered many innovative industry ideas, together with leading international steel framing companies including Howick, SFS International and Framecad. Several Chinese manufacturers displayed similar automated framing systems on site. These domestic solutions are still in the development stage and are not yet comparable in quality to the international brands mentioned above. Overall, the steel frame industry in China is definitely in a strong growth phase with huge market potential.

It was great to reconnect with familiar brands and industry faces at the exhibition. We also noticed typical over-designed Chinese structural solutions on display, including excessive K-bracing, trussed headers at unconventional angles and large amounts of standard C-channels.
