Guangzhou issues the "Five-Year Action Plan for Accelerating the Industrialization of New Buildings in Guangzhou (2024-2028)", which actively guides and supports the development of prefabricated buildings. In 2023, the proportion of green buildings in completed civil buildings reached 98%. 13.14 million square meters of prefabricated buildings were newly started, accounting for more than 48%, an increase of 6 percentage points year-on-year.
As a result, the construction scale and proportion of prefabricated buildings in Guangzhou have been firmly in the forefront of the province, helping to build a "zero-waste city".
