In recent years, with the increase of global natural disasters, public health events and other emergencies, the demand for emergency buildings continues to grow. Modular buildings have become an important solution in emergency resettlement, public health, education, medical care and other public service fields due to their fast construction speed, reusability, and controllable cost, and their application scenarios continue to expand.

Many regions in China have incorporated modular buildings into the emergency reserve system: a local emergency management bureau has purchased 500 sets of modular resettlement houses, which can be deployed within 72 hours to meet the temporary resettlement needs of 2,000 people; a city built a 12,000-square-meter modular primary school in only 30 days, which can accommodate 2,000 students, 6 times faster than traditional civil construction, and is environmentally friendly and formaldehyde-free, ready for use immediately after delivery.

Overseas markets are also in strong demand: many African countries have purchased modular hospitals and schools from China to quickly make up for the gap in public service facilities; many European countries have reserved modular emergency housing for natural disasters and refugee resettlement. Industry insiders said that the application of modular buildings in the public service field is becoming normalized, and will become an important category of government infrastructure procurement in the future.
